Listen. This is probably the first time I'm using Yelp to review anything. I tell it like it is, and I don't blow smoke up anyone's butts.
This place is legit good. Remember that scene in Ratatouille when the critic got mind blasted so hard, he remembered his repressed childhood memories? Yeah. That's me. Honestly, the rolls are huge in portion (THEY EVEN SERVE THE REAR ENDS OF THE ROLL AND OOF ITS GOOD).
Gyoza? More like Gyo- get me more of this. -

Let me first say Hubby and I are sushi snobs-- we decided to try a new place and looked at reviews.
We got miso soup- actually tasty, cucumber & avocado salad-- crisp, lots of avocado and easy on the cucumber, heavy on the iceberg lettuce, eel roll #40-was not as good as we have had from other places and was not wrapped tightly and lots of crab and rice as filler, pieces were huge. Monkey brains-stuffed mushroom tasty and juicy, #93 don't remember the name but it was a baked one and had a sauce that was just to powerful to enjoy it almost to rich actually. Wasabi was powerless and tasteless and the ginger had a bite but no long lasting flavor. The service was good, but could be improved. There seemed to be a steady stream
Of customers and it appeared to be clean. Overall, not one we will add to our favorites list. -

Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service here. Love the cozy setup inside with the umbrellas on top. The staff was very nice and friendly.
We ordered the Diana roll and Seattle roll. The rolls were surprisingly big compare to other places and very filling. I truly enjoyed the rolls as they were delicious. Definitely a great sushi spot.
Would definitely come back and try new rolls. -

We had the teriyaki chicken plate, Katsu plate, spicy tuna tempura roll, chicken udon, miso soup, Sapporo roll, gyoza. And now we're completely stuffed to the gills.
The spicy tuna tempura roll was one of the most soul satisfying food experiences I've ever had. It is warm though so if you like your sushi cold this is not the roll for you. It was spicy as advertised so be aware if you don't like spice- it was so good, I love me some spicy sushi.
The Sapporo roll I didn't try my husband ate it but he did say it was really good by there was a lot going on. The katsu was tasty the cabbage slaw salad stuff that was on the plates was pretty stellar. The gyoza was good, but the auce that came with it was great.
The miso soup was a little creamier than I'm used to and as a result it was very satisfying.
The udon was delicious, my daughter's biggest complaint was that there was too much chicken which in my book is the opposite of a problem.
All in all very happy with the meal-the service was great and the ambiance is cute they do a lot with a tiny place. -

Avoid this place...staff took order and never put it in. After waiting 45 minutes we just left! The same waiter asked who took your order....we looked at him "YOU DID!" So we just had to walk out after everyone around us got their food and came in 15-20 minutes after us!
